Principles for Responsible Management Education

Whilst business and management have been part of the University curriculum for over 20 years, the University of Winchester Business School was established around the time of the launch of the UN backed 'Principles of Responsible Management Education' initiative, or PRME in 2008. The University is proud to have been an early adopter of the PRME Principles (13th in the UK) which have played a central role in shaping, from its formation, the Business School’s strategies relating to teaching research and external engagement.

PRME's vision is to realise the Sustainable Development Goals through responsible management education and it’s vision is to transform business and management education and develop the responsible leaders of tomorrow. It now includes over 800 business schools worldwide.

The university of Winchester is excited to have been named one of just nine UK universities to take part in the 2024/2025 programme as a PRME Champion.
