Open Day Accommodation Offer

Experience the University of Winchester for yourself  and stay on campus during your visit!

We’re offering exclusive accommodation for Open Day visitors in our Burma Road Student Village, just a short walk from the main campus and Winchester city centre.

The offer

• Single ensuite room located within Block A, Burma Road Student Village

• Private room with full linen provided

• Shared kitchen (8 rooms per flat)

• Flats may include a mix of other Open Day visitors

• £52.50 per person, per night

• Special weekend offer: Friday–Sunday stay for £79.99 per person

• Parking available at £1 per day, per car (subject to availability)

Booking Details

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking via bank transfer.
An invoice will be issued by our Finance team within 3–5 working days.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

Your Stay

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: from 14:00 on your arrival day.

Parking

Overnight parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please register your vehicle with Security at check-in, then pay via the RingGo app using Location Code 24081.

Guest parking is charged at £1 per day across most University car parks. Check-out: by 10:00 on your departure day

Key Collection

Keys can be collected from the Security Office (‘The Cottage’, location 7) on the main campus.
If the office is temporarily unattended, please wait — a member of the security team will return shortly.
You may park next to The Cottage briefly while collecting your key.

Key Return

Before departure, return your key to The Cottage or use the white drop box outside the accommodation entrance.
A £10 charge applies for unreturned keys.

Catering Options

Catering outlets near the accommodation will be open throughout the weekend:

• Friday: Main University Dining Hall — 16:30 to 18:30

• Saturday: The Learning Café — 08:00 to 15:00

• Sunday: Explore Winchester’s cafés and restaurants, all within easy walking distance.
