The University of Winchester and Winchester Student Union are aware that a coach carrying members of the University community as part of a Student Union organised activity was involved in an incident with another vehicle near San Bonifacio, nr Verona, Italy at approximately 15:15 BST (16:15 local time) on Thursday, 7 April 2022.
No members of the party sustained injury and the coach has been able to continue its onward journey to Winchester as planned. Constant communication is being maintained with the coach.
The University are working with the Student Union to continue monitoring the progress of the journey and arrangements have been made to receive the coach in Winchester with support being provided on arrival for students who may have been affected by the incident en route.
