Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards
We offer a range of scholarships, bursaries and awards for students joining us in September. These provide students with financial support based on their academic achievements, personal circumstances and household income.

New Students
We recognise the anxiety caused by the current economic situation and have recently reviewed our offer of undergraduate bursaries and scholarships for September 2025.
Our new Widening Participation Bursary will be made available for up to fifty new students who come from backgrounds recognised as under-represented in higher education, and whose characteristics make them more likely to face cost pressures during their studies. This will include students who are care-experienced, estranged, young adult carers, and from gypsy, Roma, traveller, showman and boater (GTRSB) communities.
The individual bursary awards will be worth a total of £3,000 each for eligible Year 1 undergraduate entrants in 2025/26, or £4,000 each for eligible Foundation Year entrants in 2025/26. Each award will be paid as a cash award of £1,000 annually, assuming students still meet the eligibility criteria each academic year.
Further information, including the eligibility criteria and application process, will be made available in Spring 2025.
Please note, our bursaries and scholarships are available subject to application and eligibility. We reserve the right to alter available funding or recipient criteria through our Bursary and Scholarship schemes when required to do so in order to meet our statutory obligations.

Students may also be eligible for additional financial support through one of our widening participation bursaries if they meet one of the following criteria:
