KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT

We actively engage with the world outside Higher Education in a variety of ways and we are always open to new ideas of working with the wider community.

We warmly welcome enquiries; please see the list of Key Contacts on the right hand side, or visit our Staff page.

We run a varied public engagement programme throughout the year, including a host of free and fascinating public lectures and seminars, art exhibitions and Research and Engagement Week, the annual showcase of our research. Find out more.

The University subscribes to the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement's Manifesto for Public Engagement. Find out more about the Manifesto.

GETTING HERE

There are now three Park and Ride services for Winchester which offer many benefits over driving and parking in the city centre.

For more information on the Park and Ride. The fare covers your return bus trip and any period of car parking on the day which can often cost less than parking in the city centre.

The new Park and Ride in the South Winchester area (the vicinity of Junction 11 of the M3) has now opened and will be well placed to meet and serve demand from several large employers located on the west side of the city, including the University.
