Easy peasy pancake recipes

On Pancake day (or Shrove Tuesday) we are very excited to bake up a storm in the kitchen! Whether you prefer American-style pancakes or traditional crepes, they make a delicious treat, are super cheap to make and can be paired with almost anything. Here are some of our easy peasy recipes below.
Traditional Crepes
100g plain flour
300ml semi-skimmed milk
1 tablespoon sunflower or vegetable oil
2 eggs

Fluffy American Pancakes
300g self-raising flour
300ml semi-skimmed milk
1 tablespoon caster sugar
melted butter or sunflower oil
1 tablespoon syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ tablespoon salt
2 medium eggs
These type of pancakes are best soaked in maple syrup. You could also add some blueberries for a healthy alternative.

Vegan Banana Pancakes
120g self-raising flour
150ml oat, almond or soya milk
1 large ripe mashed banana
2 tablespoons caster sugar
half teaspoon baking powder
quarter teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons coconut or vegetable oil
Why not top them with some banana slices, agave nectar or vegan chocolate to sweeten them up a bit?
