Research highlight: money and power of royal women in premodern Europe
IWD 2023
The theme for 2023 was Equity and our Enterprise team organised a networking event connecting women entrepreneurs with our potential student entrepreneurs, enabling the students to meet positive role models and the entrepreneurs to develop professional relationships with our students. We also launched a report on encouraging equitable practice in entrepreneurship.
In 2023, the University signed up to the Advance HE Aurora programme, a leadership programme for women in Higher Education designed to be a positive action measure under the Equality Act 2010.
We have well established expertise and research interests in histories of women’s education, and we published a blog and a book highlighting our research into the role of women in the Anglican Church Congress.
