Dr Ben Sanders

Biography

Dr Ben Sanders PhD, BSc (Hons), MSc, CEng, PgCert LTHE, CCNA, MBCS is Head of Department of Digital Futures.  His specialist areas are Cyber Security and Computer Science at Winchester Business School.  He has been lecturing in the fields of computer science, cyber security and networking for almost 10 years. He has led and authored a range of undergraduate and postgraduate computer science and cyber security degree programmes. He has delivered a range of professional training programmes including Cisco and Certified Information Systems Security Professional courses.

His academic interests are wide-ranging and he has published peer-reviewed research outputs in computer security, psychology, virtual worlds and management journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. He is a Visiting Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and has presented his research at many international conferences including the USA, Europe, China and South Africa. Much of his research and teaching is focussed on cyber security, risk management, threat analysis and networks.
