Gerald is a dedicated educator and researcher with a passion for understanding the complexities of entrepreneurship within diverse cultural contexts. Holding a PhD in Management (specialising in Ethnic Entrepreneurship) from the University of Leicester and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Dr Gerald delivers engaging lectures across various modules in entrepreneurship, organizational behaviour, Marketing and Strategy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also actively supervises postgraduate research, mentoring students in their exploration of management and business experiences. Regarding his own research interests, he focuses on the lived experiences of local and ethnic entrepreneurs in developing economies, especially Malawi, aiming to empower these individuals and promote inclusive economic development. Dr Gerald's commitment to decolonising research underscores his belief in the importance of challenging traditional perspectives and amplifying marginalised voices.
