Dr Daryl Kenny is Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer for the BSc Professional Policing Degree. He joined the Department of Social Sciences, Forensics and Politics in 2020.
Daryl has over thirty years of policing experience, five years as an armed officer in Toronto and twenty-six year in Staffordshire. Over the years he has undertaken a wide variety of mostly front-line policing roles with specialist secondments to the Home Office, the National Policing Improvement Agency and the College of Policing, Westminster.
Whilst working full-time, Daryl has undertaken four consecutive degrees including a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in 'Policing and Police Studies', an MSc (with Merit) in 'International Criminal Justice' and a Professional Doctorate in Criminal Justice.
