Biography

Adam retired from the financial services industry in 2020 with 40 years' experience, predominantly in asset management, and is now pursuing a part-time career as a financial services consultant and a volunteer.

Adam's last executive role was Chief Compliance Officer for HSBC Global Asset Management, a position to which he was appointed in 2013. His main responsibilities were coordinating and driving compliance risk management, providing strategic compliance advice to the senior management and managing the compliance function.

Adam joined HSBC Global Asset Management in 2006 in the role of Global Head of Product Development, where his responsibilities included the management and coordination of product development across the group's product ranges.

Previous to HSBC, Adam worked for JP Morgan Asset Management and Fleming Asset Management (before it was purchased by JP Morgan).

Adam was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford, where he gained an M.A. in Mathematics. He lives in Tunbridge Wells with his wife Elizabeth. They have three adult children.
