Midwifery

The BSc (Hons) Midwifery programme aims to develop inclusive, compassionate midwives who can safely provide high quality midwifery care and are equipped with the skills to flourish within modern health care systems. Following successful completion of this course you will be eligible to register as a midwife with the NMC.

This dynamic, interdisciplinary course combines the study of nutrition science with health and wellbeing. It is aimed at those who have a keen interest in human nutrition and health, and can lead to registration as a nutritionist.

You will start your professional journey, learning how we use and treat our bodies and brains for active, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

Our MRes in Health Science will provide you with a challenging and stimulating programme of taught and independent study in a discipline of Health and/or Wellbeing of your choice.

Advanced Clinical Practice (Primary Care & Community)

Are you a busy healthcare professional looking to extend your knowledge to an advanced level within your specialist field of practice? You can achieve that on this dynamic, multi-professional course, where you will study a contemporary advanced clinical practice programme with a specific focus on working in Primary Care and in the Community, or allied settings. 

Global Health

Are you keen to engage with contemporary issues, and global themes and challenges? The Covid-19 pandemic has swung an international spotlight on the importance of solving critical global health challenges. Our dynamic, interdisciplinary course draws on a range of academic fields of study in the social and clinical sciences to understand the policy and practice of global health to meet such challenges.

Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration)

Our unique and flexible MSc in Occupational Therapy programme is about knowing, doing and becoming a registered Occupational Therapist. Combining virtual classroom learning alongside blocks of practical/seminar learning on campus, it provides a fast–track pathway through to employment via a two-year, full-time route as well as a more flexible part-time option taking three years.

PGCert Community Rehabilitation

Study a contemporary community rehabilitation programme with a specific focus on community recovery. Featuring flexible study options that are designed to fit in around you and your professional commitments.

Practice Education

Are you an experienced practitioner who is interested in supporting and developing learning in your professional workplace? The Post Graduate Certificate in Practice Education provides multi-professional education for health and social care practitioners undertaking a practice educator role. The programme is delivered flexibly, with significant opportunities for application, on-the-job learning, and research.
