Keeping humans in the loop
CIRCLE AI – Reimagining Learning in an AI Age
ABOUT US
CIRCLE AI (Cluster for Innovation in Research on Creativity, Learning and Education with Artificial Intelligence) is a research and knowledge‑exchange community of practice within the Centre of Research for Educational Action and Theory Exchange (CREATE).
We bring together educators, researchers, and students to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping creativity, learning, educational practice, and what it means to be human in a technologically rich world.
Our work is rooted in:
- Human‑centred inquiry
- Ethical and inclusive education
- Reflective, imaginative research
- Bridging theory, practice, and policy
AIMS
CIRCLE AI aims to:
- Interrogate and reimagine AI in education by exploring its impact on creativity, learning, equity, and agency.
- Build a vibrant interdisciplinary community by connecting students, academics, and researchers through dialogue and shared inquiry.
- Develop evidence‑informed practices and holistic, critical development opportunities through collaborative projects, discussion-based sessions, and reflective inquiry.
- Shape ongoing conversations on AI by contributing insights to debates on ethics, inclusion, and the future of pedagogical thinking.
