Mr Jonny Brason

Biography

Jonny is Head of Service Delivery for the South East at the Prince's Trust; one of the UK's leading youth charities whose mission is to provide every young person with the opportunity to succeed. Jonny leads a team of 35 colleagues to directly work with 1,000 young people a year, supporting them to achieve their goals in education, enterprise and employment.

Prior to this, Jonny worked in various roles within the Trust over eight years, working in the Solent, Hampshire, London and the South with a focus on employability, working with local and national stakeholders to reach our goal of getting 75% of the young people we work with into employment.

Originallly from London, Jonny fell in love with the community feel of Winchester as a City and a University and both had a strong insfluence on who he is today. During his degree in Business Managementat the University of Winchester, Jonny held a number of volunteer roles within a range if sport teams ansd socities as well as holding the role of Participation and Volunteering Officer at the Student Union for two years. Upon completion of his degree, Jonny was Vice-Preseident of Activities for two years. working to enhance the student experience and providing a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for all students. it was here that Jonny discovered his passion for supporting young people to reach their potential and began a career in youth work. 

Away from work, Jonny currently lives in Dorset as close to the beach as he can with his wife and two girls, who being under one and three years old - keep him very busy.
