Winchester ranked in top 25 in England for graduates in employment and further study

The University of Winchester was in the top 25 (ranked 22nd) out of 108 English universities for the percentage of its students going into employment and/or further study.

Latest figures, show that 89.9 per cent of Winchester students who graduated in 2022 (data published by HESA in June 2024) went onto work and/or further study within 15 months of graduating.

The data supplied by HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) also places Winchester in the top three in the south-east region (outside of London), behind Oxford and Surrey.

In some subjects more than 90 per cent of graduates went onto high-skilled jobs, including Digital & Technology Solutions, Nursing (Adult) and Social Work (Apprenticeship), in which every single graduate tracked went into highly skilled employment (a 100 per cent success rate) closely followed by Physiotherapy with 97%, and Teaching with a 91 per cent success rate.
