The University of Winchester is to integrate its computer systems to improve student engagement and the student experience.
The University has selected global software company TechnologyOne to deliver its cutting-edge OneEducation system which will create a single, secure and connected platform for student engagement, curriculum and academic and financial administration.
Replacing multiple separate systems with a unified one, will simplify and speed up day-to-day operations and support better decision making by connecting workflows and data. As a result, staff will be able to focus more directly on the needs of students.
OneEducation covers the complete student journey, from recruitment and admissions to enrolments, progression, timetabling, and graduation.
On the corporate side it includes finance, supply chain management and enterprise content management and business analytics.
This investment is part of the University's ongoing strategy to modernise its technology, making it more flexible, efficient and user-friendly for students and staff.
In addition to yielding cost and time savings, the new technology will also ensure the University’s systems are ready and able to evolve to meet changing regulatory requirements and institutional priorities.
Work on the project will begin this summer with various elements being implemented between now and Autumn 2028.

Technology is a leading SaaS (Software as a Service) provider in the UK’s higher education market. Among institutions which use the OneEducation system are the London School of Economics (LSE), the University of Dundee and the Royal College of Music.
