Judith Waite

Biography

Judy Waite is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing. She is an award-winning author who has published over forty works of fiction, ranging from picture books to works of YA (young adult) fiction. She runs creative writing workshops and residencies in schools for both pupils and teachers, and workshops for adults within the community, and had worked collaboratively with artists, museums and literacy specialists.

Her most recent research focus is on creativity in schools and the development of creative approaches to learning within the UK schools curriculum remit.
