Dr Alistair Jones is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Education and member of the Research Cluster for the History of Women’s Education. He is a former director of the Chalice Well Trust and continues to write for the charity’s publishing company The Chalice Well Press, established in 2009, and The Chalice, a journal founded in 1967 in collaboration with the author Rosamond Lehmann. His current research focusses on the history of progressive education.
