Biography

Will is a director and writer. He read English at King’s College London before training on the Theatre Directing MA at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His work in theatre has spanned across the West End, regional theatre and many UK and international tours.
 
Most recently, he directed the world premiere of Fishlake at CAST in Doncaster and Theatre Royal Wakefield. He was the Resident Director of Sister Act. Prior to that he was Associate Director on the original West End production of Kander & Ebb’s Curtains, Associate Director of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tell Me on a Sunday, and Resident Director of Bartlett Sher’s Tony and Olivier Award winning production of The King and I.
Beyond Will’s work on West End and touring shows, last year his own musical, B*ST*RDS, was nominated for an OFFIE for Best Production at Brighton Fringe Festival 2024. He also recently shot his first two short films, GLAVLIT and We Caught a Burglar. The latter of the two has received an Honourable Mention for Best European Short at Absurd Film Festival and an Official Selection at Tokyo International Short Film Festival within the first month of its release.
 
Will also teaches and directs extensively at drama schools and universities including: ArtsEd, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Laine Theatre Arts, Emil Dale Academy, Identity School of Acting, Solent University and The University of Winchester.
