Biography

Dr Khadijeh Masty is a lecturer in Law and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She joined University of Winchester in September 2021. Khadijeh teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and her module leadership/ teaching spans a variety of subject areas, including Land Law, Intellectual Property Law, Medical Law, Immigration Law & Policy and Human Rights Law. She also supervises undergraduate dissertations and is the Module Leader for Independent Research Project module.

Beyond her teaching and research, she serves as the Programme Leader for the LLM Law (Conversion) course, and acts as a mentor and reviewer for the CASTLE programme (Celebration and Accreditation scheme for Teaching and Learning Expertise). Khadijeh is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Additionally, in 2024 she successfully completed Aurora programme (Advance HE Leadership development Initiative for women).

Khadijeh serves on the Health and Safety Committee and co-chairs the Staff Race Equality Network at University of Winchester. She is also a governor at the UK's largest sixth form college. Khadijeh's research interest spans a variety of different topics, reflecting her curiosity and passion for exploring diverse fields.

She has previously presented her research at various national and international conferences including the Centre for Professional Legal Education and Research's annual conference at the University of Birmingham, Institute of Medical Ethics' annual conference, Osgood Hall Law School's annual Graduate Conference and the Society of Legal Scholar's annual conference.
