Dr Mir Dost is Senior lecturer in Innovation and Strategic Management and programme lead for the MBA. He has a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the School of Management of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Thailand.
Previously, he was an assistant professor of entrepreneurship and management at Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education, Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom. He was also a visiting faculty member at Abertay University, Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom. Before that, he worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman. He also served as an Assistant Prof. at the Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University. Dr Dost also served as director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization and head of the Department of Management Sciences at Lasbela University, Pakistan.
Dr Dost is a consultant with Internation WAQF, United Kingdom, a Country Director of Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Thailand and a consultant to the International Centre of Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Nepal. He is a Professional trainer for Pearson’s Business and Technology Education Council on ‘Enterprise and Entrepreneurs’ and ‘Business Decision Making’, atrainer with IBA Karachi on USAID’s project “Entrepreneurship Development”, a consultant at National Business Development and Promotion, Pakistan, and a resource person and consultant for SMEDA, Pakistan. He is the founder of two startups, Bolan Consultancy® and ILM Academy (social).
