Biography

Neil Curtin is Senior Lecturer in History. He obtained a first class degree at the University of Lancaster and a distinction in his MA at the Institute of United States Studies, University of London. He was a part-time tutor in American History at the University of Kent between 1988 and 1992 whilst simultaneously holding a part-time position at Winchester. He has been a permanent, full-time member of staff at Winchester from January 1993, teaching both History and American Studies. He has acted as both Head of Subject and Programme Director to the BA's in American Studies and History and assumed the role of Head of Department in August 2018.
