Whether they are customers, colleagues or stakeholders at large, people are the reason why everyday I strive to give 100% to deliver sustainable and continuous improvement. People make real any improvement initiative I deliver. Whether a social worker with less burdensome administrative processes has more capacity to help children and families; an academic member of staff follows more streamlined process having more time to create inspiring learning modules for students; a machine operator spends 6 minutes rather than 36 setting up machines, my concept of improvement is about people and how to inspire them, so they can unleash their full potential in line with their business.
Along this line, I have embraced Lean and its founding pillars of respect for people and continuous improvement, gaining robust experience in Lean implementation and Lean training in Higher Education as well in Public Sector and Service Industry.
My area of expertise is integrating lean principles into digital transformation. This is to go beyond the sole focus on digital tools, to holistically consider value stream, waste removal and customer value as integrating parts of the digital transformation journey.
Outside the office I am committed to education serving as governor at St Mark’s CE Primary School in Southampton. I speak Italian and a bit of Spanish. I love riding my motorbike and repairing pretty much anything or at least to give it a try!
