Annabel is a Senior Lecturer in Performing Arts. She is currently Programme Leader for the MA in Cultural and Arts Management. She also lectures on the Drama, Street Arts and Contemporary Performance degrees and was Programme Leader on the BA in Creative Industries and BA in Theatre Production.
Annabel was previously Director of Total Theatre Network and the Circus Arts Forum. Projects included the annual Total Theatre Awards, Total Theatre Magazine and various international training projects and conferences. She worked as an advisor to the Arts Council on their Circus Strategy. She also sat on panels at the Arts Council and the then London Arts Office which made funding decisions for circus, carnival and street arts funding.
Previously Annabel has worked for the Independent Theatre Council and been the administrator for various companies including Lambeth Children’s Theatre, Polkatz Theatre In Health Education and Wild Iris and as a board member for The International Workshop Festival and Pan Centre for Intercultural Arts.
She has worked as an independent Arts Consultant and is currently on the board of Tall Stories.
Annabel has a 2:1 from Bournemouth University in Business Management and an MA with distinction in Arts and Cultural Arts Management from the University of Winchester.
