Nominate now for the Alumni Recognition Awards 2020

Question: What do a founder of a charity improving the lives of disabled children and young people in Africa, a graduate caring full-time for his mother alongside working, and a leading proponent of lifelong learning have in common?

Answer: They are all Winchester alumni who have received the Alumni Recognition Award in recent years.

We are pleased to announce that nominations for this year’s Alumni Recognition Award are now open. The Award formally recognises and celebrates the achievements of an alumnus/a of the University, or any of our predecessor institutions.

We would love to hear from you about any of our alumni who have made an outstanding contribution to society in any of the following ways:

• Considerable community/voluntary dedication
• Career success in any are with a number of notable achievements
• Exceptional courage in the face of adversity
• Heroism or dedication to others

Nominations can be made and seconded by alumni, staff, students by completing and sending the  to the Alumni Team on alumni@winchester.ac.uk or via post at Alumni Team, University of Winchester, Sparkford Road, Winchester, SO22 4NR. All nominations must be received by 30 June 2020.

The Alumni Recognition Award will be presented at Graduation in Winchester Cathedral in October 2020.
