The Winton Chapel, King Alfred Quarter, University of Winchester, Sparkford Road, SO22 4NR

We are delighted to welcome the Rt Revd Stephen Conway, Bishop of Ely, to reflect on the tools that he has developed for successful leadership after suffering a mental health crisis. Among other things, he will touch on psychological safety, strength in vulnerability, purposeful disruption, and when radical candour is appropriate in organisational behaviour.

Stephen is a senior Church of England bishop and Lord Spiritual in the House of Lords from 2014. From 2014-19, he was the lead bishop for education in the Lords and Chair of the National Society (for education). From 2011-15 he was also responsible for introducing leadership development processes for bishops and cathedral deans. He has engaged with judges and senior coroners in their leadership development, too. He has spoken about leadership for the Windsor Leadership Trust.

Light refreshments will be available at the rear of the chapel from 5.30pm
Please note if you are driving to us that PARKING restrictions finish at 4pm, although this is not apparent from the signage, so you will be able to park in any of our campus car parks without risk of any penalty even if you do not have a permit.
