Half term workshops

The University of Winchester Schools and Colleges team are hosting summer half-term workshops for students in years 11, 12 and 13. On Wednesday 31 July and Wednesday 28 August, 10:30am-3pm, students can get involved with sessions focusing on, but not limited to, HE choices; campus tours; preparing for year 12 and academic skills. Both workshops will be on the King Alfred Quarter. If you would like to sign up for the workshop in July you can do so here, and the August one here. Experience Days

Experience Days are predominately aimed at students in Year 12 or 13, studying for a level 3 qualification. An Experience Day is a great way for students to spend time in a university environment, assisting them in making a more informed choice about their future.

Experience Days can include academic subject tasters, tours of the university, opportunities to interact with current students, as well as gaining an insight into life as a student and practical experience of what it’s like to learn in a university environment.
