Biography

Lisa-Marie is a part-time Senior Lecturer in the Professional Studies team. Her main areas of expertise include behaviour, emotional health and well-being and sex and relationship education. She worked as part of the Hampshire Nurture Group training team and developed a solution-focused teacher coaching service with Hampshire Educational Psychology Service. She worked as a national trainer for Learning Mentors and was Inclusion Leader for the successful Leigh Park Community Improvement Partnership. Following this, she became an Assistant Headteacher and Teacher in Charge of the Resourced Provision

Areas of expertise

Lisa-Marie is a part-time Senior Lecturer in the Professional Studies team in the Faculty of EHSC. Her main areas of expertise include behaviour, emotional health and well-being and sex and relationship education. She has developed Undergraduate and Postgraduate modules exploring Current Issues in Education, Promoting Positive Mental Health in the Classroom and an MA module which explores current thinking about Mental Health and Wellbeing. She is a Mental Health First Aider and co-leads the PGCE Primary Programme. Lisa-Marie was awarded Fellowship of Higher Education in 2021.
