Colette has been the Assistant Vice-Chancellor at the University of Winchester since September 2015. Prior to joining the University she was the Head of Policy at Bournemouth University, and has previously held roles at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
After receiving a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2001, Colette went on to study for an MSc in Palaeobiology at the University of Bristol. She is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Higher Education Management at the University of Bath, specialising in student satisfaction and experience.
Colette is the Chair of the Board of the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL), a Governor of Barton Peveril College, a Trustee of the British Accreditation Council, a Trustee of the 401 Foundation (a charity devoted to building confidence and self esteem and tackling mental health and self development issues), a Member of the Institute of Risk Managers, a Member of the UK Speechwriters’ Guild, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
