We have an enviable reputation in the teaching of business-related programmes where our mission is to develop responsible future business leaders. We are a forward-thinking business school committed to providing a distinctive and relevant education for our undergraduate and postgraduate students that has the values of sustainability at its core. We are a full member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools.

The University of Winchester Business School is proud to have been an early adopter in 2008 of the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). These Principles are inspired by internationally accepted values that seek to establish a process of continuous improvement among institutions of management education in order to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century.

PRME has played a central role in shaping, from its formation, the Business School’s strategy which aligns with the University's 2020-2030 Strategic Vision that specifically supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Members of the University of Winchester Business School have played a key role in the development of PRME globally and locally with the Regional PRME Chapter. In January 2016, Winchester became a Global PRME Champion for 2016/17, was reappointed in 2018 for 2018/19 and again in 2020/21.
