Open Days for 2015 entry
Our Open Days are a great opportunity to find out what studying at Winchester is all about. They provide the chance to explore the campus, find out more about the subject you are interested in and meet staff and students.
Dates for Open Days for 2015 entry will be published in Spring 2014.
What happens on an Open Day?
Our Open Days begin with a Welcome Talk which introduces the University and our values, aims and achievements. You can then attend subject talks and meet the tutors from the programme you are interested in.
During your visit there is also time to meet current students at Winchester and to find out from them about their experience of being a student here. Our campus and accommodation tours run throughout the day and are a great way to explore the teaching and social facilities available. All guides are current students so you will get a real insider's view of what life is like at Winchester.
There is also a lot of information and advice available about the support on offer from the university during your time here. Student Services will be able to discuss any support needs you may have. Our Course Enquiries and Admissions team will discuss our entry requirements and how to apply and can offer advice on your application. The team from Student Finance will be available to discuss funding options with you, including the financial support available to you from the University.
At the end of the day you can explore the historic city centre which is only a 10 minute walk from campus to get a feel for what it would be like to live in this small and lively city.
If none of our Open Day dates are suitable and you would like to visit the university at another time, you can book onto a Campus Tour where our Student Ambassadors will show you around the campus and also share their experiences of studying and living in Winchester.
