Our Supportive Research Knowledge Exchange Environment
The University of Winchester is committed to providing a supportive environment in which researchers can flourish. Explore the many ways in which we achieve this.
Ethics and Integrity
The Research Ethics Policy and Procedures are grounded in the University’s three core values of Compassion, Individuals Matter and Spirituality; our policy enacts these values in relation to research. Our work places a strong emphasis on research integrity: researchers are expected to act with honesty, care and respect, in a transparent, rigorous and accountable way, guided by relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
The research ethics review process is peer-led, intended to be constructive and to strengthen research practice. We are committed to training, supporting staff and research students to consider research ethics and integrity throughout the lifecycle of a project, and promote researcher reflexivity.
